Originally from the Great Northwest, Brian was influenced by Pacific Rim and Native American designs, as well as the west coast Lowbrow art movement. With a foundation in large scale wood and metal works, he received a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Washington in 2000.

Now, with a primary focus on painting, he addresses noteworthy political and social issues that bridge mainstream and historical cultures.

Brian works and resides in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and hilarious twin daughters.
